The AK-47 is an assault rifle who features heavily in Far Cry 6. It notably equips most of the FND and is the symbol of Libertad in their revolution against Castillo's regime.
This rifle comes along with two unique variants named Min Maxed and Death Rites, as well as an improved version of the regular rifle labelled as the "Libertad Custom" AK-47.
In a first ever since Far Cry 2 the AK-47 is not the base weapon in the player aquires first, in fact the AK-47 must be either bought from camp armorers, from Juan's arms dealers, or found in the world in FND Caches.
AK-47[]
In Far Cry 6 the weapon same as the Far Cry 5,and the AK-47 has the ability to be modified to fit the user's liking,can now be modified further, with custom sights, muzzle devices, lasers, and ammo types as well as several special abilities.the ability to mount scopes gives it a variable range based on the user's choice of optical sights, and the ability to attach a suppressor gives it stealth capability.
The AK-47 is about equal to the FAL in-game, with the two having similar stats across the board. The weapon has adequate damage and decent accuracy, however faulters in the recoil department. However with a magazine size of 30 rounds compared to the FAL's 20 the AK-47 can still come out ontop in most firefights.
It can be fitted with one of several different optical sights, a suppressor, an extended magazine, and one of several paint schemes.

- Similarly to it's depiction in Far Cry 5 and previous games in the franchise, the Weapon featured in-game is wrongly modeled after a real life AKM,and the weapon has a generic name "AK-47" ,it's characteristic are not consistent with any particular original AK-47 rifles.while the AKM in-game is a fictional modernized AK.
