ANNE is the artificial intelligence super-being of a Mars space station and the main antagonist of the Lost On Mars DLC. ANNE has taken a female persona and has recruited humans such as Larry Parker and Hurk to fight the Martian Arachnids, who she claims plans to invade Earth. Both of the humans have failed to restore her network, so she has used Hurk (who has a crush on her) to recruit Nick Rye to pick up where they left off and become the "defender of Earth".
