- Like the AR-C, the AR-CL is a fictional rifle based on a Mega Arms MATEN receiver with the .308 magazine well swapped for a 5.56mm version, using a handguard loosely based on the Daniel Defense MFR M-LOK with its distinctive "bolt-up" attachment system.
- The AR-CL only has 10 round capacity despite being modelled with 30 round PMags. This is likely due to the weapon being a caliber conversion as it's possible to modify 5.56 STANAG Magazines to use .50 Beowulf or 45-70 although they hold much lower capacity (typically 6-10 rounds). This would also explain the increased damage over the regular AR-C.
