In-Game Description

The BZ19 returns in Far Cry 4 and is almost identical to its predecessor. As before, it is one of the best weapons in the game, having a huge magazine, low recoil, great damage, and a very swift reload. It is even better this time around, as it now has access to a magazine upgrade that lets it carry a whopping 84 rounds, outclassing all other weapons in the game with the exception of several lightmachine guns. This makes the BZ19 the ultimate "do-all" gun that can tackle nearly any situation thrown at it, outside of niche engagements such as long-range sniping and ultra-close quarters shotgunning. As before the Shredder is immediately outclassed by the BZ19 once obtained, rendering the former completely obsolete.
