A staple weapon of the Viet Cong, typically carried by Brawler units, against the US military during the war in Vietnam. Wendell Redler made use of them during his trek to the evacuation point after being captured by the Viet Cong and separated from his squad.
Functionally, the weapon is identical to the Branch weapon in the main game, while having a much greater utility with decent stats.

The Bamboo Stick was added to the main game as a melee weapon around the time of the release of the third expansion Dead Living Zombies.
