Captain Díaz is an FND captain who was captured by Sergio in the "Undercover Stud" mission as hostage as a negotiation to free Felicia, and must be escorted by Dani Rojas and Sergio from "El Este Naval Stables" to a secondary base.
Díaz is not to be killed during the escort and Sergio had warned him that if he asked for help or if he had made a wrong move Díaz would die. Sergio, Dani and Díaz follow the creek bed downhill to avoid the FND finding their tracks in case they were using dogs. After arriving at the end, Díaz will be delivered to another guerrilla and Sergio will be needed elsewhere.
For Dani to start the exchange, he will have to scandalize the Benitez billboards by putting Díaz's face around the coasts of Sierra Perdida and Conuco, during the exchange the soldiers and snipers of the FND will be at the Basílica de la Virgen as soon as they learn Díaz is alive, during the shooting Díaz will either escape or be killed and Felicia will either be saved or killed.

- In the mission "Loose Ends", Rosa Mel Paquete mentions that one of the targets, Orlando Díaz (?), is the brother of Captain Díaz, and that the Captain breeds horses.
