Heavy warriors are two types of warriors (Heavy Gunner and Heavy Flamer).
They are more armored than the regular warriors; in Far Cry 3 the Heavies only appear in some Story missions, Wanted Dead missions and Outposts, whereas in Far Cry 4 they are seen patrolling within other Royal Army and Guards, The Heavy Gunners are harder to takeout than Heavy Flamers, but Heavy Flamers can be shot in their gas tank, causing them to explode. They cannot be killed with a normal takedown, only by Heavy Beatdown and after that skill is learned, you can use the Death From Above against the Heavies, both in Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. In Far Cry 3 and 4, the Heavies are taller than the other warrior types.
In Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon DLC, the Omega Force Heavy Gunner and Flamer are similar to Privateers Heavies.
Far Cry Primal have similar warriors named Chieftains, they are armed with Two Handed Clubs. Like Heavy Gunners and Flamers, Chieftains are taller than the other tribe warriors.
Fire is very durable against the Gunners and Chieftains. The Flamers however, have fireproofed outfits, so using explosives are much better against Flamers.
Heavy Gunners returns in Far Cry 5, but unlike previous games, they are much weaker and can be taken down with a normal takedown. Flamers are as durable as Gunners, and they can be killed by few hits on the gas-tanks. Unlike previous games, these are able to charge against the player, but with a slower speed that Assaulters, Brawlers and Berserkers.
