In-Game Description

Eden's Fire is a Story Mission in Far Cry New Dawn. Start it by knocking at New Eden's door, after finding Joseph's Word at the end of The Prophecy.

Walktrough[]

After retrieving Joseph's Word during The Prophecy, go to New Eden and knock again. This time The Judge opens the door as they see the book and immediatly urge you to follow them to the church in which Ethan Seed resides. He tells you his story, his views towards Joseph Seed and of the symbolic meaning of the books retrieval. He is convinced, that Joseph is dead and wants proof of this. Therefore he enlists The Security Captain, but before they are allowed to go north, they have to further proof themselves worthy. This shall be accomplished by rekindling The Flame of Eden. Ethan marks the Captain with his blood and sends them to meet the New Edeners.
Talk to some New Edener in front of the storage building. She explains how the flame was extinguished by Highwaymen and that a band of Chosen stands ready to help you. Go to the location and meet them. They provide a Rank II Chosen Bow in order the remain stealthy.
Go towards the statue and kill every Highwaymen on the way to secure the path. It's not necessary to use the bow, but it might come handy. The Chosen also shoot everyone in sight, so keep that in mind when going for takedowns. On top of the hill is a band of half a dozen enemies. They are hard to kill without getting detected and once they are aware of you, reinforcements arrive very quick. Kill everyone and talk to the Chosen leader. He tells you how the Highwaymen flooded the cave below the statue and sealed the Bliss-pipes which provide fuel for the sacred flame.
Descend into the cave, whichs waterlevels are now lower then if you visited the location before the mission. The first task is to find the submerged valve which keeps the water in place and release it. This drains the area and makes it traversable. If you want to explore the surroundings thoroughly do it now, as it is later inaccesible. The next step is to find the Bliss-pipes and shoot them. There are 2 in opposite directions in side corridors and one in the main chamber. Shoot this one last, as the Bliss hurts with evey breath. Find the corridors, open them by destroing the wooden obstacles and go to eachs end, where the pipe is. Once shot, Bliss exudes and quickly floods the surroundings. Shoot all 3 pipes and go for higher grounds. When the cave is filled with Bliss, ignite it with your weapons. Flee the area, as everything is set ablaze within seconds.
The New Edeners are overjoyed and immediately start burning sinful items, like monitors and crates. The leader sends you back to Ethan, which starts Into the Bliss. Mickey calls her Highwaymen to let them know the flame is burning again, which makes the New Edeners fight harder, which in turn upsets her and Lou.
