Flamers are members of Eden's Gate who are armed with the Flamethrower. They tend to close the gap and incinerate the area where enemies are thought to be hiding. One of them is The Cook as target in Jess Black mission A Dish Served Cold.

Trivia

• They are hard to take down, despite the fact that they wear no armor at all, so avoid frontal contact.
• The fuel tanks they use don't react well to gunfire; shoot it to instantly kill him or any of his allies nearby.
• Like the Heavy Gunner, they can easily be taken down. They run at about the same speed as the Gunners, if not slower.
• Explosives like grenades can stun them momentarily, but remote and proximity explosives can kill them instantly.
