“Beautiful and smart, Dr. Darling was a refugee from the glowing provinces of Canada after the US and Russia played nuclear hockey with her cities. She found herself working for Uncle Sam to develop weapons to stick it to the Soviets, but that was before Sloan started snorting Dragon’s blood like a fat kid with a straw and powdered chocolate. Now she’s trying to stop him. Sloan… not the fat kid.”

The following section needs to be cleaned up to conform to a higher standard, as it is possibly too long, too detailed, lacking objectivity, unclear, or lacks citations.

Dr. Elizabeth Veronica Darling is the heroine and deuteragonist of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

Dr. Darling is a Canadian scientist held against her will by Omega Force, but who covertly aids Sergeant Rex Power Colt to defeat his nemesis and her captor, Colonel Ike Sloan.

Dr. Darling joined Col. Sloan after the nuking of Canada and the invasion of Australia, having offered her a place to help humanity and restore civilization.

However, she had been deceived. Using her research, and working with Dr. Carlyle aside, Col. Sloan had begun to weaponize dragon blood into an aerosolized agent.

Dr. Darling is a talented scientist and is apparently capable of repairing cyborg soldiers.

  • Voiced by Grey DeLisle.
  • She is a fan of video games.
  • Bears a resemblance to Ludmilla, the wife of antagonist Ivan Drago, in the 1985 sports-drama film Rocky IV.
  • At the end of the game, she is seen hugging Sergeant Rex "Power" Colt, but she opens her eyes, revealing they are purple, suggesting she has consumed the Dragon's Blood herself.
    • This may also be a reference to the ending of the music video to Michael Jackson's Thriller, where after hugging his girlfriend, Michael turns to the camera and reveals his werewolf eyes.
  • In Trials of the Blood Dragon, a sequel to the Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, it is revealed that she is a Blood Dragon herself. This explains why she hates Sloan for using the Dragons for harvesting their blood. It also answers the question why her eyes were glowing at the end of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
