« Flamethrowers? Still going with these useless weapons? They often kill their own allies, but they just don’t learn. »

Unknown Player

Flamers are aggressive and reckless. They use flamethrowers and source fuel wherever they can - gasoline, petrol, laundry detergent, alcohol. It’s not uncommon for their tanks, if left open, to explode without warning. Their elite variant is the FND Special Forces Flamer who can also unleash extra machinegun firepower from long distance by RPD loaded with Incendiary rounds, before using Flamethrower for close quarter combat. The weaker "variant" of the FND flamers are the FND Fumigators, who spray PG-240 to choke and poison their opponents.

Unlike other enemies who can shoot pistols or SMG from their vehicles, FND Flamers do not use flamethrowers from inside vehicles at all for obvious reason.

One known Flamer is Corporal Puente who fight in the FND last stand defending Yara capital city Esperanza. Dani Rojas must be careful in The Battle of Esperanza as he while Puente wears FND Flamer officer uniform, his combat style is actually the same as FND Special Forces Flamer. His misleading uniform can catch Dani Rojas by surprise with Incendiary rounds from RPD.

If Castillo regime falls, the remnants of FND refuse to surrender, they often form insurgencies and seizing back control of certain unstable areas. One famous Flamer is the insurgent leader Rodolfo Claudia.
