The 1950 FND MiG-17 Fighter Jet is an armed military jet bomber, used by the FND.
Description[]
Soviet jet fighter of the mid-XX century, which is in service with the Fuerzas Nacionales de Defensa. Painted silver with red and black elements, the fuselage has the tail numbers "03" and "890", the emblem of the Yara Air Force and "Lion Castillo".
The MiG-17 Fighter Jet is only able to be seen when an FND Officer fires his Flare Gun sending a bright white flare into the air, this calls in an airstrike to the players location. After several seconds the Fighter Jet will bomb the target, the Flare Gun can't be picked up upon the Officer's death.
It is not found at airfields, it is not available to the player.

Trivia[]
- The MiG-17 is the second military jet in the Far Cry universe. The first is the F-35, which can be found in Far Cry New Dawn on the H.M.S. MacCoubrey Expedition.
