FND Pistoleros are basic units found everywhere in Yara. They are typically found transporting goods, or dealing with prisoners. They wear the standard white and red uniforms with White Berets for Enlisted Infantry and Red for Officers. They fight with a Skorpion, making them the only type of enemy with submachine gun as primary weapon in Yara.
Strangely enough, while on horseback and other vehicles, they would switch to the Mark IV revolvers on their chests instead of the stronger Skorpion. FND Vanguard and FND Special Forces Sniper likewise also refuse to use their sawn off shotguns when on horses and other vehicles, switching to far weaker pistols instead for some strange reason.
Their combat style is similar to Pistoleros in the previous game. Their weaker variant is the FND Military Clerks. Their elite variant is the FND Officers, who can buff other soldiers to do more damage and withstand more damage, as well as calling airstrikes by Flare Gun.
One known Pistoleros is Lieutenant Jiménez. High ranking members includes the four colonels Sonia Pérez, Orlando Díaz, Raúl Martínez, Simón Cavallo. Some pistoleras such as Ría Campos and Lieutenant Peña actually wield pistols as the name implies, not Skorpion.
The Food Inspector was tagged as one of them, according to the phone camera of Dani Rojas.
If Castillo regime falls, the remnants of FND refuse to surrender, they often form insurgencies and seizing back control of certain unstable areas. One famous pistolero is the insurgent leader Crash Marín.
