Flamers are tactical and pyschopathic killers. Many enjoy taunting their victims, or leaving them in embarrassing poses. Many used to be Flamers or Vanguards in the Army.
They are the combination of 2 types: Flamers and Heavy Gunners, they fight at long distance as Heavy Gunners using RPD loaded with Incendiary rounds, then use Flamethrower for close quarter combat just like FND Flamers. They are the elite variant of FND flamers with extra machine gun firepower, far deadlier than FND Heavy Gunners who use standard RPD and cannot unleash fire on their enemies.
They are similar to a type of Highwaymen Enforcers in Far Cry New Dawn who also used a combination of light machineguns and flamethrowers.
One known FND Special Forces Flamer is Corporal Puente who fight in the FND last stand defending Yara capital city Esperanza. Dani Rojas must be careful in The Battle of Esperanza as while Puente wears FND Flamer officer uniform, his combat style is actually the same as FND Special Forces Flamer. His misleading uniform can catch Dani Rojas by surprise with Incendiary rounds from RPD.
If Castillo regime falls, the remnants of FND refuse to surrender, they often form insurgencies and seizing back control of certain unstable areas. One famous Special Forces Flamer is the insurgent leader Clarita Vargas.
They supposedly served under the command of air force general José Castillo back when he was alive, as their armbands have the emblem of the Fuerzas de Defensa Aereas. Except Clarita Vargas, who only got the uniform in the wake of Castillo regime downfall.
- SF Flamers are the tanks of the Special Forces.
- They use MGs with Incendiary Rounds and Incendiary Grenades at long range, then use flamethrowers at close.
- Still carry fuel tanks, but have protective armor.
Trivia[]
- In early design, they used a combination of flamethrowers and RPG-7 instead, before being changed to RPD and and flamethrowers.
