There are a number of local, national and international businesses that make appearances in Far Cry 5. Some, such as gun and automotive manufacturers, have products the player will use throughout the game; others are location-specific, or are featured in advertisements around Hope County. Although it can be presumed that most, if not all, of these companies did not survive the nuclear apocalypse, advertisements for most can still be found around Hope County during the events of Far Cry New Dawn seventeen years later, while some still have products (such as cars and whiskey) that were manufactured pre-Armageddon still in use.
