In contrast to equipment, items in Far Cry can be defined as disposable objects, for a single or limited use (pickups), or those that can be interacted with and used to the player's advantage but not collected (non-pickups). They can also include objects not available to the player but used by the Mercenaries to their advantage against the player (functional).
