Fields of Terror is a Guy Marvel mini-movie mission in the Far Cry 5 DLC Dead Living Zombies. Players have the option to play solo or co-op. This mission takes about 10–15 minutes to complete.
Story[]
A top-secret military airplane carrying top-secret explodes in mid-air after an engine explosion. the debris rains down over a secluded wheat farm in the middle of nowhere. The cargo was dead soldiers who had been reanimated into zombie 'super-soldiers'. The explosion wakes up the missus her husband grabs a rifle and heads outside. The farmer is now the last line of defense to prevent a global outbreak.
Walkthrough[]
The cargo consists of large containers with exposed glass tubes that the game calls 'mutation stations'. Every so often the nearest one will expel more of it's mysterious ooze and 'create' more zombies. The player will need to use whatever weapon is necessary and break the glass tubes in the station, while killing any zombies that have already risen.
The first weapon available is a double-barrel shotgun. There is also a medpack and a baseball bat on the porch. There are two molotovs near the door to the barn, and another rifle and ammunition near the truck in the driveway. After reaching the pickup, zombies will start rising from the bright yellow goo. There are four mutation stations in total that need to be shut down.
Zombies with their brain exposed will catch fire when their heads are shot and run around burning anything flammable in their path. Shooting any zombie in the head will put it down with one shot. Careful when shooting barrels as they may explode, damaging both the zombies and the player. After killing a zombie, running over them on foot appears to gather more ammunition. Players can use a tractor located in a nearby barn to attack zombies, but killing them with it will not recoup any ammunition.
Finishing off the last mutation station will end the mission.
