The RAT4 is a weapon found in Far Cry 5,Far Cry New Dawn and Far Cry 6.

The RAT4 is a rocket launcher found in the stores of Far Cry 5, taking the role of the LK-1018 from Far Cry 4. It is unlocked after obtaining 4 levels of resistance in any region. This weapon can be upgraded with a lock-on feature.
However, can be acquired earlier if the player completes Hurk's gun for hire mission: After completing said mission, simply "kill" Hurk and he will drop his weapon. After which, the player can pick up the launcher and use it free of charge.
Trivia[]
- The weapon resembles the Carl Gustaf recoiless rifle, used by the US Army Rangers. However, The RAT4 name is a nod to the AT4, a Swedish recoilless rifle based on the aforementioned Carl Gustaf, used by the US Army to replace the M72 LAW. It also may stand for the AT4 Itself, the R probably standing for "Rocket", despite the weapon being a recoiless cannon that fires heavy shells.
Far Cry New Dawn[]
The RAT4 returns in Far Cry New Dawn. Unlike its previous counterpart, its rockets cannot lock onto targets as the game does not implement the use of weapon mods.

The Makeshift RAT4, is slightly more powerful than the Rusty RPG-7. Its body is being held together with elastic bands, a belt, zip-ties, a piece of copper wiring screwed to the bottom, with a scope on the side of the launcher itself. Its handle is wrapped in duct tape.
"Blast Off" RAT4

The "Blast Off" RAT4 is relatively unchanged from its previous counterpart, though it does sport a teal paint job with orange and white accents, with a rocket ship decal on the body of the launcher itself. it is available either as a pre-order bonus or through the season pass.

The Optimized RAT4 is a Rank 3 weapon. It looks nearly identical to its makeshift counterpart, save for its dark grey camo paint job.
