God is conceived of as a supreme being and the principal object of faith. He is described as having three key attributes omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence, as well as being immortal. Some religions describe God without gender, but Christians believe he is of the masculine gender.
The Voice of God is mentioned in Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn. The Voice of God is heard in the Far Cry 6 dlc Joseph: Collapse where he serves as the main antagonist. He is voiced by Greg Bryk in the dlc.
Far Cry 5[]
Joseph Seed believes that the Voice of God speaks to him and so he follows God’s orders and gets people ready for the Collapse.
Joseph: Collapse[]
The Voice is heard by Joseph inside his mind after his faith in the Lord is shaken by the Collapse and the loss of his family members. The voice tries to convince Joseph that he did everything that was required and that the only thing that mattered was his survival. Joseph refused to give in to Voice and tried to find redemption by cleansing his mind of sin.
As Joseph works to escape his mind, The Voice shows Joseph several visions including what would have happened if his siblings survived the Collapse. However these visions didn’t shake Joseph, he kept pushing forward to find redemption and to enter Eden. During the final battle to escape his mind, Joseph hears the Voice tell him that he was in control and the only way to escape his mind was to accept him once again. After fighting waves of Sinners and realizing that rejecting the Voice means death, Joseph gives into the Voice once again and enters Eden's Gate.
