Gone Fishin' is a side story fishing mission in Far Cry 5. It is the second mission in a series of three fishing quests given by Skylar Kohrs. It takes place in Jacob Seed's region of Whitetail Mountains at Dylan's Master Bait Shop in Widow's Creek. Completion of all three quests will reward players with the second best Fishing Rod in the game. For information on how to fish, see Fishing. The starting mission is Tools of the Trade which will need to be completed to unlock this mission.
Objectives[]
Players will get two of the three objectives below (selected randomly)
- Catch 1 Bass - Faith's Region
- Catch 1 Sturgeon - John's Region
- Catch 1 Salmon - Jacob's Region
Plot[]
Players will need to go to a related hard fishing spot in each region. Since these fish are more difficult to catch, several attempts may be required. Also be sure to use the proper bait for each fish. Return to Skylar after the fish are caught.
