Hostage Negotiation is the fifth mission of Act One and the fifth story mission overall in Far Cry 4.
This is a choice mission, where Ajay had to choose between Sabal and Amita.
Synopsis[]
This is the first hostage rescue mission, and could be considered a tutorial for the later hostage rescues.
After the devastating attack on Banapur Village some civilians were captured and moved to location nearby held hostages by the Royal Army forces, its upon Ajay to free them as Sabal and Amita are occupied with other matters, Sabal believes thats its crucial for Ajay to liberate those hostages to strengthen the cause.
After Liberating all the hostages Sabal will thank Ajay over the radio and mention to him how this was his father's vision promising him that they will find Lakshmana together.
Gameplay[]
Ajay were approached by both Sabal and Amita about the situation in hand. The former wanted you to go rescue any hostage the Royal Army had in a village near Banapur. The latter wanted you to approach the Khilana Bazaar outpost, where a valuable intel was at the Royal Army Hunters hands.
Depending on choice, Ajay had to move. If he chose Sabal, he must go to the village where the hostages are. He had to rescue 4 hostages on stealth, alerting the soldiers might get them killed, after clearing the area out he has to untie each civilian and will be rewarded with money. After rescuing them, Amita will chastise him for his decision. If he chose Amita, he must go the Khilana Bazaar outpost, capture the outpost and secure the intel.
