"JOHN SEED - THE BAPTIST" is a short profile of John Seed, one of the three secondary antagonists in Far Cry 5, and the younger brother of the game's primary villain, Joseph Seed. John's profile was composed by Richard "Dutch" Roosevelt and pinned (along with a photo) over the Holland Valley region of the large, wall-mounted map of Hope County in Dutch's bunker.

In charge of "recruiting for the cult—MARKING,
CLEANSING, CONFESSION, ATONEMENT... those are
the four steps he puts everyone through to become a
member of Eden's Gate—if they survive.
John tells everyone to accept "THE POWER OF YES" as
a way to get his followers to do whatever the fuck he
wants. Grade A psychopath.

- This profile (and the corresponding photo) are connected by a length of twine to those of Joseph.
- Of all of the Seeds, Dutch Roosevelt seems to find John, the public face of Eden's Gate, the most disturbing. Perhaps not coincidentally, John's methods are the most well-known of all of Joseph's lieutenants at the beginning of the game (with the details of Jacob's "training" regimen and the extent of Faith's drug-based mind control becoming apparent only later).
- As with the other profiles in Dutch's "command center", this seems to have been either written or updated shortly before the events of the game.
