Joseph's Word is the location of Joseph Seed's giant statue in the Henbane River region of Hope County in Far Cry 5. The statue itself is hollow and consists of several levels where the Cult stores various supply crates, safes, and on the top level, a copy of the book "The Word of Joseph".
The area is heavily decorated with Bliss flowers and various Cult symbols. The Pilgrimage, a long trek that the Devoted undertake around the Henbane River ends at one of the stone fireplaces, followed by the ritualistic leap of faith that usually results in their death.
Far Cry: New Dawn[]
Seventeen years after the nuclear war, the statue remain relatively unchanged. The location is important to New Eden, being the site of their sacred fire. It was extinguished by the Highwaymen but is re-lit by The Captain in the mission Eden's Fire.

Trivia[]
- The statue seems to be a mockery of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, which is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
- It is unclear when the statue was built, being fully completed in the beginning of Far Cry 5.
- The statue was revealed to have been built by Faith, however, given the fact that a statue that size would take years to complete (for reference, the statue of Christ the Redeemer took 9 years to construct) and and that the incumbent Faith, Rachel Jessop, is a relatively new member of Eden's Gate (having joined 7 years prior to the events of Far Cry 5), one must assume that the construction on the statue was started by the first Faith, and was taken over by her successors, after the previous Faith was disposed of by the Cult.
- Even if you destroy Joseph's statue before the mission "A Leap of Faith," it will still show up in the mission.
- After doing this mission, if the player returns to the part of the Statue where A Leap of Faith took place, (if they hadn't already destroyed the statue) they may see an NPC jump off it to to their demise.
