Faith Seed (not to be confused with Faith/Rachel) is a character featured in the Far Cry: Rite of Passage comic, and mentioned in Far Cry 5 as well as in the Far Cry 6 DLC Joseph: Collapse.
Biography[]
It is unknown when the two were married or how they met, but Joseph's wife became pregnant with his child sometime before he began the Project at Eden's Gate. They lived together in Kansas City, Missouri. [1] She tragically died after getting into a car accident while driving to visit her friend Sarah, but her baby daughter survived - until Joseph claimed God told him to return her to the angels and he killed her in a supposed act of mercy. - Beating Joseph: Collapse on Mind Level 5 directly confirms that her name was Faith, as well as features her voice for the first time in the series via a voicemail.
- Although never seen in-person in Far Cry 5, Joseph has a tattoo of her on his forearm, surrounded by bliss flowers.
- Joseph tells the Junior Deputy that his wife always had faith, and in the Rite of Passage comic she explicitly tells him "I have faith in you." It could be suggested, then, that the concept of Faith (the role, not to be confused with Rachel Jessop herself) in the Project at Eden's Gate came from her.
