The LK-1018 is a rocket launcher that appears in Far Cry 4. It is acquired after finishing all four Longinus missions, and is given by Longinus himself. The rocket it fires is slow and easy for enemies to avoid, but can be guided when aiming down the launcher's scope. When fired, the rocket is set on a 4-second timer. If the rocket hits an obstacle within that time, the rocket will detonate normally. If hipfired, it cannot be guided.

The launcher has one attachment, the LCAM sight, which replaces the rocket with a cluster missile. With this attachment, the LK-1018 loses the ability to guide rocket in mid-flight. Instead, the launcher needs to be aimed and pointed at a surface, such as a building, vehicle, or the ground. When firing, the rocket will climb sharply upwards into the air, then fall back down and unleash the same type of round that mortars fire. If the LCAM-equipped LK-1018 is hipfired without aiming, it will behave like a normal unguided RPG-7 rocket. However, after a certain distance, the cluster munitions will activate, giving the player a dumb-fire mortar, if they are far away enough from the target.

The LCAM-equipped LK-1018 is one of the most powerful weapons in the entire game, and is excellent for taking down large groups of enemies, such as Pagan's Wrath convoys, and clearing out hostile fortifications, such as Outposts and Fortresses. Although tricky, a handful Outposts are small enough to where they can be cleared with a single well-aimed shot of a cluster rocket.

Bugs

• When the LCAM sight is unequipped, its effect will remain on the LK-1018. To fix this, unequip the sight, then remove the launcher from your weapon holster, then put it back into your weapon holster. This should remove the effect from the LK-1018, until the LCAM sight is re-equipped.
• Although the LCAM sight is supposed to allow the launcher to lock onto vehicles, the mechanic seems to be bugged and not actually work.
• The explosion sound effect that should play with the cluster rockets does not actually play, leading to a silent explosion. The regular rockets sound fine, however.

Trivia

• The weapon's design appears to be based on the launch tube of the Soviet RPG-29 anti-tank rocket launcher.
• The LK-1018's name is a reference to the bible passage of Luke 10:18 (And he replied, 'I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven), a reference to Longinus' Christian ideals and the description of the rocket's behavior with the LCAM sight equipped.
• If the the launcher is fired while quickly aiming in and then scoping out (it must be scoped and unscoped very quickly while firing), the rocket will start flying in a huge circle formation, making three loops in the air before exploding on the 3rd loop. It will still detonate normally if it hits something in the air. While this "bug" is just a novelty by messing with the game's tracking system for rockets, one should immediately move out of the way when doing this as the rocket may directly impact Ajay and blow him up.
