The Letter From Rae-Rae is a note in Far Cry 5. It can be found on Rae-Rae's Pumpkin Farm in the Holland Valley, on a dresser in the bedroom of the main house.
Rae-Rae, the proprietor of the farm, wrote it to her son Ryan's father Russell sometime before the events of the game.

- Russell,
- Please read this. Eden's Gate has been hounding me for our land ever since you left. Then, the other day, some of them came to the house and told use we've been marked. They said that Ryan was gonna get taken into their Project and that Boomer was gonna be given to a fella named Jacob up North.
- Look, I know we've had our differences, but you've left me to be the only one looking out for our boy, and I've decided that I'm standing my ground. There's no way I'm letting those bastards break up our family.
- Whatever happens, I hope you understand.
- Rae-Rae
Trivia[]
- Although Rae-Rae and Russell are estranged, the presence of the letter she sent him in her home indicates that he returned to the farm, either to help defend her and Ryan or to talk them into leaving Hope County. since Rae-Rae stated she had no intention of leaving her home, it can also be inferred that the suitcase on the bed is his.
- The bullet-riddled corpses of a woman and a man (presumably Rae-Rae and Russell) in front of the house, along with the heavy cult presence, suggest that both were killed shortly before the arrival of the Junior Deputy. Furthermore, Boomer will approach these bodies and whimper once freed from his cage, and Dutch will comment sadly on Rae-Rae's death.
- It's suggested that Ryan was able to escape the cultists that killed his parents, and the lack of a third body seems to support this.
- This letter was definitely written before the events of the game, as Rae-Rae is dead by the time the Junior Deputy arrives.
