Lucia is the deceased wife of Carlos Montero and the mother of Camila Montero and Alejandro Montero.
Little is known about her aside from Montero Fragment I, written by her, and Wrinkled Handwritten Note, found in the Montero Farm by Carlos's workstation. According to Montero Fragment I, her relationship with Carlos was rocky as he drank and cheated on her, but she still loved him up until her death from an unnamed disease which made her physically weak. The Wrinkled Handwritten Note reaffirms her love for him. Both notes also discuss Alejandro's tremulous relationship with his father and Camila's similarity to Carlos.
It is possible that her last name may be Bárzaga, since Philly Bárzaga is referred to as a cousin of the Montero Family.
