Walkthrough[]
After activating the radio tower on Dutch's Island, the Deputy is alerted over the radio by Rae-Rae, the owner of a local pumpkin farm in Holland Valley, saying that their dog Boomer has been acting strangely ever since the Reaping began.
Upon arriving at the scene, you will find Boomer locked in a cage with a few Eden's Gate followers patrolling the area while frequently going up to taunt the canine. They must be killed. Once the area is secure, Boomer's cage must be unlocked. The loyal hound will immediately run to locate his owner Rae-Rae who, unfortunately, has been killed by the cultists. Go over and pet the dog, and he will become loyal to you.
Dutch will then call the you on the radio and lament the loss of a beloved friend. He will then suggest that you take the dog as a new partner, unlocking Boomer as a Fangs for Hire. Several Peggies arrive to recapture the farm, and you and Boomer can work together to win the fight.
