Matéo Serrano was an FND Engineer, praised as an expert in armored technological warfare and renowned technological genius who has been developing advanced counter-guerrila tank designs. He leads the insurgency formed by remnants of FND in the wake of Castillo regime downfall, retaking control of the Conuco Province.
His combat style is the same as other FND Engineers, like Cherche Rocha after and before him, charging forward for close quarter combat using EMP grenades and the sawn off version of 1887 just like FND Vanguards and FND Special Forces Snipers. He can build auto-turrets to provide suppressing fire for his allies.
He is the brother of the other insurgent leader Milo Serrano, thus the latter sought revenge against Libertad for his fallen brother, although Matéo’s insurgency mission was triggered for the second time. He pretty much swore to avenge Milo as well.
Before leading the insurgency, he supposedly served under the General of the Brigadas Mecanizadas just like all other FND Engineers.
After Week 21 with Raúl Marín was triggered, Week 22 brings back Matéo Serrano and his Insurgency mission as 20 Insurgencies were crushed.
