Merle Briggs is a character found at Silver Lake Trailer Park in Far Cry 5. He is a foul-mouthed Southern "redneck", who claims that he knew the cult was bad news the second he saw Joseph Seed.
Biography[]
Merle can be first seen in Silver Lake Trailer Park, being held hostage. After being saved, he will give the Deputy a mission where they have to get Merle's car back, as the peggies have taken it.
Merle is soon kidnapped again and held hostage in the mission The Cleansing. The Deputy saves him along with a helicopter pilot.

- In Far Cry New Dawn, It is unknown what happened to Merle after the nuclear holocaust. If he is still alive, he would be most likely in his sixties.
- There is a character in Whitetail Mountains with the same lastname, but it's unknown if he is related to Merle.
