Miguel Delgado is a soldier for the Familia Montero.
Biography[]
Of the guerrillas in the Montero fold, Carlos considered Miguel to be like a son to him. He was first seen as a prisoner being held at what used to be Gabriel Castillo's namesake public school which was converted into a political prison where he was tortured and put through sheer hell. He blamed Espada personally for leaving him to die. Dani and Carlos staged a rescue from the school, getting him and a few others out. Miguel was reunited with his comrades back at Montero Farm, but the mood between him and Espada was sour. During the plot to rescue their fellow brothers from being executed by José Castillo in the town square of Verdera, he informed Dani that he hid a sniper rifle in the bell tower of the church. The rescue/assassination attempt was sabotaged as the rifle he hid was defective and José was aware of the attempt on his life as well as the rescue. Back at the Family Farm, Espada confronted Miguel and accused him of being a traitor. Though Miguel never denied it, he never admitted it and went off on how she left him to the mercy of the FND. He told her if he wanted them all dead, he would have given up the location of their hideout. He continued talking about the FND's inquisitive tactics he endured and when he suggests Castillo already won, Espada slashed his throat and killed him.
His notes left in Hidden Histories revealed that he and numerous other people associated with the Monteros were enslaved by Castillo regime, but Espada only rescued Carlos and Philly while abandoning the rest including him.
If Dani takes the boat to Miami, it is unclear what would become of Miguel.
