Mokuba is a location in Far Cry 2.

History[]

It is located in the south-eastern sector of the Leboa-Sako district. This area appears to be slums, comprised of dozens of shacks and makeshift metal buildings. It can be assumed that it was used as a place of residence by many people in the Unnamed African Country, up until the start of the civil war. After the war started, the area was taken over by the APR, the residents of Mokuba were evicted and the shantytown was turned into an outpost.

Layout[]

There are many enemies in the area, so a frontal assault can be difficult. A good tactic is to attack stealthily at night, or during weather where enemy visibility is considerably lower such as during rain.

There's 2 main ways to get into Mokuba. One is by following the windy dirt road that runs straight through the center of it. The other is by taking a hidden path by some cliffs to the west.

If coming in from the top of the hill, there will be a guard on a platform about halfway down who has a rocket launcher and could prove to be a big threat if you are not paying attention, so it is wise to take him out first.

Role-in game[]

This place is a faction mission location. It's where the special forces team's equipment in Destroy the foreign commandos' gear ends up if you subvert the mission. It's also involved in the buddy mission Terminate the car salesman at Mokuba where you have a to kill a car dealer who sold Josip Idromeno a defective car.
