NVA Flamer

NVA Flamer.

The NVA Flamer is a type of People's Army of Vietnam soldiers in Hours of Darkness. They are the flamethrower units of NVA forces during the game. Since they are a national armed force, not guerillas, they do not have any Viet Cong equivalent.

Overview

They are foot soldiers of NVA and they are equipped with a Flamethrower, and they take more punch than other grunts. Their clothing is green uniform, bullet vest, helmet and sandals.

Trivia

While the LPO-50 Soviet flamethrower was indeed used during Vietnam War, it was the original unaltered version, not the modified version like in the game. This is likely because everything were from the memories and imagination of Wendell Redler.
