NVA Sniper

NVA Sniper.

The NVA Sniper is a type of People's Army of Vietnam soldiers in Hours of Darkness. They are the sniper units of NVA forces during the game. Aside from them, there are also Viet Cong Snipers.

Overview

They are foot soldiers of NVA and they are equipped with a SVD sniper rifle, and they will snipe the player so to deal with him greater damage. They also have good eyesight so they are also threat for stealth tactics. For close quarter combat they switch to MP40. Their clothing is green uniform, camouflaged helmet and sandals.

Unlike other 21st century enemy snipers, back in Vietnam War, red laser sight was not invented yet, so their sniper rifle sight do not expose them, making harder for the player to detect them and pinpoint their position for returning fire.
