Ofelia García fought in the Revolution of 1967 with other Legends of 67, as they rallied around the communist professor Santos Espinosa to overthrow Gabriel Castillo, the president of Yara. Like the rest of the Legends, she was disappointed and disillusioned as Lobo was proven right when Santos Espinosa turned out to be corrupt and incompetent, leaving the country in shambles.
In 21st century, after Antón Castillo took power and seeking revenge against those who overthrown his father Gabriel, while Miguelina set up traps for a deadly last stand, Ofelia is still living in Patriotas Peak with other fellow Legends, she can be found hosting the game Dominos at the Legends of 67's camp in El Este.
Ofelia claimed that she have been winning in Dominos way back when Revolution of 1967 started. She still play Dominos in 21st century with Dani Rojas, Irma and Jorge.
In Esperanza, Ofelia Garcia Park is named after her. Strangely enough, the second Castillo regime under Antón Castillo still leave the park's name unchanged despite vilifying her and other Legends of 67 as terrorists.
If Dani Rojas takes the boat to leave Yara and live in the US, it's unknown what would happen to Ofelia and whether she (along with other Legends of 67) would attempt to rescue the Imprisoned tank soldier or not.
