Outposts are hostile-held camps or fortified areas that the player must liberate.
They appear in Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn. Though Far Cry 6 however has FND military bases and checkpoints that is needed to be liberated(not only that, you also have to destroy billboards only when clearing out checkpoints).
