Pagan Min's Father is the harsh and cruel father of Pagan Min. Not much is known about him except that he was a rich drug lord of the Triad Empire's Golden Triangle; Pagan described him as a "dinosaur" and also seems to be very bitter toward him.
History[]
At one point when Pagan Min was a young boy, he got into a fight at school and was expelled as a result. When he returned home he walked into his father's office where a Triad member was in a meeting with the drug lord. When Pagan got his father's attention, Pagan Min's Father questioned what had happened to him. Pagan proceeded to explain what had happened and this resulted in Pagan Min's Father saying "If you can't learn to control yourself, you will be a failure all your life. Solve this yourself." The Triad gang member in the room would respond by saying "Hey, at least he's fighting, boss. Maybe your son is tougher than he looks." then Gang Min remarked "What son? I think I had a daughter." After this, they would then proceed to laugh at Pagan.
One night, Pagan Min dragged in a person of interest just like Gang Min had asked of him. The only reason Pagan did this chore was because his father had frozen his bank account preventing him from buying anymore "Women's Clothing and Flashy Cars" with his father's wealth. Gang Min then turned his attention toward the man on the ground and was about to start questioning him. However, Pagan Min decided to shoot the man in order to get his father's attention. After the man was dead, all his father would say is "Look at your fucking shoes. Disgusting." and then proceeded to walk out of the room.
At some point, Pagan's father took in a girl named Yuma Lau , whose parents were also mobsters. Her parents were killed by intelligence agents who were cleaning Hong Kong of criminals. From that moment on, Pagan and Yuma grew up together, becoming almost like a real brother and sister. Yuma admired Pagan's charm and leadership qualities, and he in turn appreciated her intelligence and ruthlessness. In Yuma's adoption, it turned out, there was no kindness at all, because Ming Sr. saw the benefit in all this. He was able to annex her parents' criminal empire to his. He practically did not care for the upbringing of the girl, as well as the upbringing of his son.
Death[]
While at a bar, Gang Min confronted his son about his sexuality and even slapped him for sleeping with men. This was the straw that broke the camel's back in Pagan Min's mind. He stood back up and pulled out a knife. Pagan had always planned on killing his father but he did not think it would be in this moment. Gang Min's last words were "You Dare..." right before Pagan plunged the knife into his neck multiple times. Pagan Min would take the head from his father's corpse and throw it on the dinner table in front of two gang members. He threatens them to either stay and work for him or they would meet a similar fate to his father. After this moment he would rename himself Pagan Min. Later that night, Pagan celebrates by firing a pistol into the air on a rooftop. He proposes a toast to the good news with Yuma Lau and some Triad goons present, taking a swig as he promises his henchmen that it is now their time to shine.
After the death of his father, Pagan Min inherited a large amount of his father's wealth and became the leader of the Hong Kong mafia, but as it turned out, this was not enough for him.
