- He is part of the Montero family in Madrugada, the Northwestern part of Yara.
- Philly is scared of heights.
- He has a sequence of readable notes, letters, and a diary entry that expand on his personality. The last in the sequence, Philly Magic V, is a secret diary entry rolled up in a glass bottle. Upon reading it, Dani learns that Philly sees them as 1) the best friend he has, 2) smells bad, and 3) is debating on kissing them. Depending on what gender the player chose in the beginning of the game, this can be taken as a hint that Philly is LGBTQ+.
- In Philly Magic IV, Dani finds a half-finished, unsent letter from Juan Cortez. In the letter, Juan writes that he is becoming one of Philly's biggest fans, specifically for his work with "adult toys".
