Predecessor

The Predecessor is a very mysterious man in Far Cry 2. No one knows who the man is. The only person that has any type of connection with this man is the Jackal, due to the relayed messages on the Predecessor tapes. This man is the man that is hunting the Jackal down, and does what is necessary to try to find him. He ends up killing himself before the player can find him.

If you have played Far Cry Instincts: Predator, this man sounds like the character Doyle, even though there is no connection between the two.
