Prosperity is a location in Far Cry New Dawn. It is the main base and central hub of the Hope County survivors.
History[]
Prior to the apocalypse, Prosperity was known as Seed Ranch. It was a large estate owned by Eden's Gate herald John Seed, who used it as a base of operations for his activities in the Holland Valley region. The ranch featured a large mansion and a private airstrip.
After John's death, and with the help of the Junior Deputy, the ranch was eventually liberated by the Resistance.
Far Cry New Dawn[]
Following the nuclear holocaust of America, Seed Ranch was presumably abandoned. It remained relatively intact from the nuclear explosions, but fell into disrepair as the years went by. Eventually, it was rediscovered by Hope County survivors reeling from the Highwaymen's invasion—including Jerome Jeffries, Grace Armstrong, and the Rye family—who renamed it "Prosperity." The Hope County survivors began converting the run-down cult ranch into a safe haven and a thriving survivor community. During the war against the Highwaymen, Prosperity became the headquarters of Hope County's Scavengers.
Gameplay[]
Prosperity acts as the home base for the player. It features upgradeable facilities that provide the player with all sorts of skills and abilities, such as advanced weapons crafting. Ethanol must be used to upgrade and maintain the base. Prosperity can be upgraded to 3 levels, and requires rescuing Thomas Rush, certain specialists, and establishing certain facilities to be promoted to each level.
The community may occasionally come under attack by the Highwaymen, though whether this is a scripted mission or a random event is unknown at this time.
