Rebel snipers are ally long range fighters working with the player's faction.
Far Cry 3[]
Rakyat snipers are not seen in the story, only in the map editor, they use the SVD and act exactly like pirate snipers. When in combat they have laser sights focused on their target and only fire after taking aim for a few seconds. When in close combat they switch to an smg for better fighting.
Appearance[]
They wear hooded vests, they have a backpack and a bucket hat as well as footwraps.
Tactics[]
When in combat head into the frontlines to fight the enemy, distracting them away from the sniper allows them to deal high damage from afar.
Far Cry 4[]
Golden path snipers make an appearance in the story as a long range support. All snipers are male,wearing the same uniform as normal assaulter save for a gold cap in place of the standard bandanas. They act similar to royal army snipers. When in combat they have lasers and take a while to aim before firing, dealing high damage. They switch to an smg in close range meaning they aren't defenseless up close.

They wear the same uniform as assaulters,they only have mustaches or clean shaven, they also have gold caps in place of the head bandana. They also have varieties such as having different faces or mustaches.
Tactics[]
When entering battle make sure to face the enemy and distract them away from the snipers, the snipers can then deal high damage from a distance and are super effective against light enemies like most soldiers of the royal army making them good support. They also have good aim against attacking eagles.
