Riding Derby is a Story Mission in Far Cry New Dawn. It's received from Irwin Smalls after Inside Job via telephone call.

Walktrough

Irwin Smalls calls The Security Captain after he fixed up a Derby car for them. They meet at Lorna's Tears, where the Captain changes into the racing outfit and in the evening drives to The Meat Grinder to participate in the Derby.
The goal of the Derby is to stay in the doughnut track and be the last driver that can walk away. There are crates filled with ammunition all over the track. If the Captain brought a handheld grenade launcher they have to make sure enemy cars don't explode too close. They don't have to stay in the car the whole time. The Mechanic-perk is very useful.
Once all opponents are eliminated the Captain is victorious and leaves the car. They stash their weapons in a duffel bag and walk towards the center of the arena, where the winner's dinner is held. When entering the tent, they are greeted by the lieutenants with praise and a fistbump. Lou sits in the throne celebrating. Mickey enters the scene and introduces Ethan Seed, who promised the Highwaymen access to Joseph's sacred fruit, if they burn New Eden to the ground now. The lieutenants begin to laugh and one implies the Twins are going soft in their head like their pops. Lou pretends to laugh before she quickly stabs his throat with the shard of a plate and both twins leave with Ethan immediately.
Irwin is agitated by this development, but still wants the Captain to kill the remaining dinner guests for dissing him. Therefore he hid a gun in the outhouse. The Captain grabs the gun, takes a deep breath and reenters the party. Time slows down so they can place clean headshots at the 4 present lieutenants. Another one enters through the backdoor and all Highwaymen become hostile. In the garage is an escape vehicle, the duffel bag with the Captains gear and a workbench, so they can restock their weapons and make their escape through the army of enemies.
While driving away, they receive a call from Irwin, who is troubled by the events. He says that he's looking for a place to lay low and that the twins are heading for New Eden. The mission ends and Kim Rye reports the attack on New Eden. This starts Problem Solver. Lou also makes a call to all Highwaymen, ordering them to attack New Eden.

• After talking to Irwin at Lorna's Tears time skips to 03:00 and is fixed, despite Irwin saying the Derby starts at midnight
• The mission title is homophone to "Riding Dirty", an expression for driving illegally
