Beheaders (A.K.A. Chargers) Are crazed, bloodthirsty psychopaths who have somehow ended up in the Royal Army ranks. Beheaders charge their opponents armed with only a kukri and throwing knives, as they lack armor of any sort, they can be killed easily with any weapon, although they have the potential to catch the player off guard. They run in straight lines towards targets unless getting shot at in which case they will strafe left to right attempting to "dodge" the bullets. Curiously, they do have 1911 handguns (as illustrated by the handgun takedown), but oddly enough refuse to use them in combat.

Trivia[]

  • During the mission "Don't Look Down", several Beheaders can be encountered.
    • While hallucinating, Ajay can speak to a Beheaders who is sitting and cutting himself, explaining how he became mad in the prison.
    • A Rakshasa Butcher can be found cutting up a dead beheaders.
    • When making the Grappling Hook, Ajay cuts the rope used by the Beheader to hang himself. Causing the other Rakshasa Butcher to come charging in.
    • At Durgesh Prison, there is a work camp below the prison itself where a dead beheader can be found executed by Throwable Knifes, presumably his own.
  • Their uniform may have been inspired by traditional Thai executioners, specifically, beheaders of Siam Empire. Executioners from Burmese kingdoms, including Konbaung dynasty where the historical 19th century king Pagan Min reigned, also emulated such style and uniform, likely another thing Pagan Min of Kyrat copied from aside from the name.
