The Ruined Tanks are common around the islands at the pacific, where Far Cry and Far Cry 3 are set in. They are based on the Type 97 Chi-Ha tanks that were used by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. the Tanks in Far Cry 6 are Petrov HS-100 used by the Yaran military.
Far Cry[]
The tanks are considerably more rusted and worn down in Far Cry compared to the way they look in Far Cry 3.
Far Cry 3[]
In Far Cry 3, it is possible to find Relics next to ruined tanks.
Far Cry 6[]
In Far Cry 6 in some places on the map of Yara, including Isla Santuario, it is possible to find destroyed tanks, probably a mix of old tanks from the Revolution of 1967, and tanks used for spare parts. All FC6 ruined tanks are remains of 1944 Petrov HS-100 tanks.
