Sammy Pérez is an experienced tracker and sniper who prefers to strike enemies at a distance. She sees Libertad as nothing but animals to be hunted. Despite being an experienced tracker and sniper, somehow she is a failed Special Forces dropout. She leads the insurgency formed by remnants of FND in the wake of Castillo regime downfall to avenge FND family members who were killed by the war. So, she retook control of provinces, Cruz del Salvador, and Barrial. During her insurgency, rumor has it that they crafted a bullet from their brother's bones to specifically kill Dani Rojas.
Her combat style is the same as any FND Sniper, she is armed with Yaran SR-A sniper rifles. Upon being approached too close, she would panic and drop smoke grenades to cover her traces then flee to safer places, avoiding close quarter combat entirely. This is because she doesn't have backup weapons unlike snipers of previous games, hence her panic and avoidance of close quarter combat. Also because she is only a dropout and not a fully trained FND Special Forces Sniper, so she was probably inexperienced and/or not trained to use sawn off version of 1887 shotgun for close quarter combat.
It's very likely that she is a relative of Colonel Sonia Pérez and the other insurgent leader Perseus Pérez before and after her, hence her family vengeance toward Libertad.
