Shooting Gallery is a side story mission in Far Cry 5. It takes place in Jacob Seed's region of Whitetail Mountains. To unlock this mission, players will first need to liberate the Whitetail Park Ranger Station. This is a timed shooting drill. The quest giver is a male Militia Captain.
Objectives[]
- Shoot a Target to Start - Targets Hit (10) / Time: 30 seconds
- Shoot a Target to Start - Targets Hit (10) / Time: 45 seconds
- Shoot a Target to Start - Targets Hit (5) / Time: 60 seconds
- Claim Reward from Militia Captain
Plot[]
To complete this mission; players will need to complete three shooting drills for the Captain. The first round lasts 30 seconds and the player will need to hit 5 stationary and 5 moving targets. The second round is 45 seconds and the targets are 10 moving. The third round is 60 seconds long and the player will have to hit 5 live pigeons. If a round is failed, players will only need to complete that rounds again, not any prior that they passed. The shotgun on the table can be used, and is easier to use for the pigeons.

Tip for the bird portion: The mission is only tracking kills, so it doesn't matter HOW you kill the birds, as long as you stay in the mission area (behind the table). Grenades and other explosives work for killing the birds.
