In-Game Description

The Great Escape is a specialist Mission in Far Cry New Dawn. Start it by freeing Nick Rye at Greasemonkey's Cage and talk to him.

Objectives

• FOLLOW Nick Rye
• DRIVE Nick Rye's vehicle
• WAIT for Nick Rye to enter his vehicle
• DELIVER Nick Rye's vehicle
• The vehicle must not be destroyed

Walktrough

Go to Greasemonkey's Cage and kill all Highwaymen there. Nick Rye is impressed and thankful. If Carmina Rye is with you, he sends her home to surprise Kim Rye. The Twins had Nick work on machines for months, but this gave him time to prepare a getaway vehicle. Follow him down a zipline and along the river until you find a shack with half-a-plane outside. This is a replica of the Carmina which he was supposed to build for the Twins. Inside the shack is the original Carmina, which lost its wings, so it can't fly. Nevertheless it is still very agile on water and land.
Drive with Nick down the river until it runs dry and then turn towards Broken Tears. The Highwaymen realise the escape and send vehicular reinforcements. Use the onboard gun to shoot them. The Mechanic-Perk is very useful to automatically repair damages. In the Henbane River are lots of explosive barrels and enemy-dinghies - avoid the barrels or use them to kill adversaries. Follow the river until the final shack between Lorna's Tears and Barren Crossing. A herd of cows is there, which are very surprised when you arrive.
Afterwards plays an emotional cutscene in which the Rye-family is reunited. Nick takes charge of the Garage in Prosperity as a specialist. The wingless Carmina can now be spawned in boathouses.
