The Cult tried to poison the Deep North Water Treatment Plant before the Collapse. Later Survivors used it to provide drinking water to anyone here, no matter their affilitation. The Highwaymen recognized the tactical advantages of controlling the water supply and consequently fortified it into an outpost after an aggressive takeover.
