"The Wolves' Den" is the third story mission of Act One and the third story mission overall in Far Cry 4.

Synopsis[]

Amita and Bhadra are in an archery range at Banapur, the former teaching the latter of the use of bows and arrows. Ajay approaches them, offering his help in some problem. Amita introduces him to Bhadra and then tasks him to go to Kanan's Farm and to eliminate the Tibetan Wolf nest near it. Ajay takes the bow and arrows, as he is tasked to preserve the wolf pelts.

Once Ajay is finished collecting the pelts and destroying the den, he returns back to Kanan's house, where he meets her, Amita, and Bhadra. Amita thanks him, but states the pelts will not be necessary since Kanan has enough for her thangka paintings. When Ajay asks about them, Amita shows said paintings; three on the floor depicting the life of a guru, the demon Yalung, and Kyra, and a fourth hung up on the wall depicting Bhadra as the Tarun Matara, this being the first time in-game that the concept is presented to the player. Amita briefly explains it and expresses her disapproval.

Gameplay[]

Ajay leaves Banapur, going to the farm, where he talks to Kanan. He volunteered to eliminate the wolves. He gets supplies on the farm, takes on Wolves one at a time with bows only, as firearms lower the quality of the pelts. He eventually reached the den, eliminating the wolves, looting inside, and fired explosive items on the den, destroying it.
