Walkthrough[]
After receiving Mickey's call, head to Punishment Pass. It is recommended to get a decently long-ranged rifle before going. Once there, another call lets you know that they not only have Thomas Rush but also additional hostages. It's possible to freely explore the area (consider repairing the tractor and breaking all wooden planks) until you reach the first marker. This starts a series of timed steps. The Twins have cameras everywhere and send a steady stream of messages during the mission. Some Highwaymen also attack and need to be dealt with.
Find the first hostages inside an old silo. 2 people are trapped with a bunch of explosive barrels and bombs. A timer starts and you have to find a switch which opens the door. Follow the pipes behind the building. On its eastern side the switch is hidden behind a pallet leaning on the wall. Activating it opens the door. After another call 4 hostages are in the area. If not, all hostages survive, the mission still progresses. Find them and defuse their bombs:
- In a shack to the northeast. A defunct tractor blocks the door. Repair it and drive it away. A keycard hangs next to the door.
- Inside the main building on the groundfloor's northwestern wall is a locked door. The keycard is pinned on a board next to it with a knife.
- A garage in the south is barred with wooden planks. Destroy them to access a room with another hostage
- TBA
When all 4 are done, go inside the main building again. The southwestern door to the cellar is now accessible. Down the stairs is a room with several hostages trapped with barrels. There are 4 switches, which need to be activated in the correct order. Activate them and remember which ones let the green lights flash. When all 4 lights are green, the door opens.
The last timed section of the mission requires a decent sniper rifle or very good aim. 3 hostages (east, west, north) are trapped with chain locks on elevated positions. If you miss the lock and hit a barrel, they die.
When all hostages are dealt with, the Twins order you inside. Stash your weapons in a bag before opening the door and prepare for some cutscenes. Rush is chained to a sack barrow and both Twins are present. You are supposed to handcuff yourself to the ceiling. If you don't comply, Lou throws a punch and applies the cuffs herself. After a short monologue, they kill Rush and start beating up The Security Captain, who's Wrath kicks in and lets them escape the handcuffs. Lou receives some serious blows from the Captain, but Mickey is able to shoot the Captain with a shotgun and blows them out the window.
An intermission plays, showing Michelle and Louise as kids with their mom. Vince is coming to get them and Lou readily abandons her. Mickey stays another minute and is urged to look out for her sister. Their mom also explains that Vince doesn't solve, but create problems - he has big plans, which all end in violence, leaving a trail of bodies behind. She wants Mickey to promise her they won't be like Vince.
The Captain is knocked out by Lou and the Twins consider them dead. They decide to investigate New Eden to find out how this superhuman strength is possible. After awaking and finding Rush's corpse, the captain is back in Prosperity. A funeral is held for Rush. Carmina Rye blames herself for his death and Kim consoles her and the captain. The mission ends with Kim referring them to Irwin Smalls near Bonecrusher Pit. Go there to start Now That's Entertainment.
